Canada’s main stock index opened subdued on Wednesday as investors processed the developments on tariffs and parsed through U.S. payrolls data.
At 9:31 a.m. ET (1431 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index (.GSPTSE) was steady at 24,582.71.
